Build on your Elementary I foundation, and earn certification to guide 9 through 12 year olds as they continue their adventures in learning about the world around us.
Montessori Certification in Elementary-I and membership in the American Montessori Society, or enrollment in MMTTC’s Elementary-I program is required. If Montessori Elementary-I certified, AMS requires a fee for upgrading the certificate to Elementary I-II. The fee for the upgrade is the responsibility of the student.
Advanced work in the following elementary subjects:
Language, Mathematics, Natural Science, Geography/History and Geometry
Five week summer session.

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00 am – 4:30 pm with 1/2 hour for lunch.
July 4th Holiday – no class on Tuesday, July 4th.
Lecture – demonstrations of the Montessori Elementary II curriculum and further discussions of the Montessori elementary philosophy.
Two, 3-day institutes, one in fall 2017 and one in winter 2018.
Audra received her Elementary I-II Montessori certification from MMTTC. She is an experienced Elementay I-II certified teacher and is currently consulting with adult learners from MMTTC in Montessori Schools in the Indiana area in Elementary-I and Elementary-II classes. Audra teaches the Elementary-II Language class at MMTTC.
Gwen is certified in Early Childhood and Elementary I-II. Gwen has Montessori teaching experience in Early Childhood, Elementary-I and II and Secondary-I. Gwen is the Elementary Coordinator, Elementary-I Geometry and the Elementary-II Natural Science and Geography/History instructor. She also acts as a consultant for MMTTC adult learners.
Dr. Kunert, the Administrative Director of MMTTC, lectures on Montessori philosophy. He also presents workshops on personal and professional development. Dr. Kunert holds the AMS Administrator certification.
Robert Scott Kamowski teaches Elementary-II Geometry and Mathematics. Robert is certified in Elementary I – II. He has taught Elementary-II in Colorado, Alabama and Illinois and is currently a teacher in a Montessori School in Alabama.
